Xtreme was founded in 1994 when the Facey family acquired a small Polaris
dealership. Since then, the company has grown to about 30 times the size
it started. While growth is certainly a positive thing, it does present
challenges in terms of making sure that all employees, from top managers to the
newest hire, continue to do business using the principles and values that the
store was founded on.
In order to ensure that those values are being applied to our daily operations,
Xtreme embarked on a process of defining and clarifying those values in the
summer of 2007. Rather than operating as a group of employees with
individual values, we are now operating with a collective set of values for the
company. Xtreme's values based operating philosophy is governed by our
company's Mission, Vision, and Core Business Values. These three elements
provide each of our employees with guidelines for making daily decisions in
their job. They represent and define the behavior and actions that our
customers, employees, owners, and communities should expect from Xtreme.
In simple terms, the Mission captures "what" we do
as a company. Our Vision provides an ongoing purpose for completing the
Mission. Most importantly, our Core Business Values describe "how" we
treat one another and customers as we conduct our business. We believe
that our use and continued teaching of values based decision making will truly
differentiate Xtreme Performance Center. We will ensure consistency,
commitment, and ongoing alignment with our Mission, Vision, and Values by making
sure that we continually talk about, teach, and reward values based behavior
within our organization.
Our
Mission
We are a family-owned
powersports dealership that sells and services all terrain vehicles,
motorcycles, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, side by side utility vehicles and
trailers, along with related parts and accessories. Our customers include
recreational riders, utility users, and all outdoor enthusiasts throughout
Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West.
